Yea, that's what I meant. A real collector wants it to be as original as possible, and not stop half-way with only an original chassis Still a very nice car though!

Currently Driving an 2008 A6 4.2 Quattro. Stock rims, might need to spruce it up once summer comes.

If anyone wants pictures they can post but it is pretty standard obviously.

    Black/Biege

In garage I now have: 2005 Lexus GX470, 2006 Infiniti G35, 1978 Corvette (my favorite underpowered car of all time, I really like the looks of this year), 1968 RS Z28 Camaro, 1967 427 Corvette and some others.

The Vitara broke down today in the middle of the forest I'm thinking the sparking plugs (translation?) are messed up, it would stutter ocassionally. I just hope it doesn't get expensive

Wouldn't a short height be a large advantage in karting ? Height only makes one less aerodynamic. And that's ignoring the extra weight.

I have an old 87 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with the 2.9L Cologne V6. I'm getting it for free from my dad, the only things is that I have to pay for some body work, and various mechanical issues out of my pocket.

@IanY, a few pages back, you mentioned US 93 vs. Euro 98 octane fuel. They are the same in terms of detonation resistance

"In most countries (including all of Europe and Australia) the "headline" octane that would be shown on the pump is the RON, but in the United States, Canada and some other countries the headline number is the average of the RON and the MON, sometimes called the Anti-Knock Index (AKI), Road Octane Number (RdON), Pump Octane Number (PON), or (R+M)/2. Because of the 8 to 10 point difference noted above, this means that the octane in the United States will be about 4 to 5 points lower than the same fuel elsewhere: 87 octane fuel, the "regular" gasoline in the US and Canada, would be 91-92 in Europe. However most European pumps deliver 95 (RON) as "regular", equivalent to 90-91 US (R+M)/2, and even deliver 98 (RON) or 100 (RON)."

    Unless you were being sarcastic..

I'm keeping my eyes open for an early 90's or late 80's Audi Quattro of some type.
Whether it be an 80, 90, or even a Coupe Quattro

Hey, if it hauls you around at a reasonable speed, it's fine by me
