Well, right now I'm driving a borrowed 1992 Dodge Dynasty... yes, w00t for the atrocious handling, horrid transmission, and 150HP 3.3L SOHC V6

Once I can scrounge up some extra cash, I plan on replacing it with a Toyota MR2 Mk.II ('91-'95)... I'd prefer a '93 Turbo but we'll see... odds are I'll end up with a '91-'93 non-turbo and blow the rest of the money on computer parts

The 07 Solstice with a 2.0 Turbo looks like a nice future car for me :p

260HP outta 2 Liters is pretty nice

Now they need to make a 3.2 V6 Turbo version with 350HP :p
    Regards, Stew.....

    Quoted BB Mods's

"J spec 2.0l block, Fully filled, .080 over, arias forged piston's,destroked and nitrated crank (-.300) help's make up for the bad rod x stroke geometry,Billet rod's,soft lobe cam's Thank's to Comp cam's,440cc injector's,56mm throttle body, tube header down to turbo, blitz boost controller,"soon to add tractic traction controller",progressive Nitrous controller,2mm larger Stainless steel intake valves 1mm larger on the exhaust, oil impregnated valve guides,no valve seal's,ported polished head by me,.030 copper head gasket,Jap 5 speed tranny, force 1 2 stage 4 pad street/strip clutch."

When we saw the car it was a beater Mazda 626 that never had the oil changed let alone performance parts. The CV joints were busted, the dash was busted, the ignition was hanging wires, the passanger window was busted out, the engine was smoking and choked you out of front seat, so much dirt it was cleaner to sit on the street. Ive seen a better paintjob on a sunken battleship.

The corvette and BMW were also his imagination. I remember him saying he had to take off turbo to save gas to Vegas...

I figured everyone deserves the truth instead of bullted.

Hard to believe but 16.5 city 19.5 highway.I pulled a 1500 on a trailer to NewYork and got 14 to 15 mpg. It has a 360 hp diesel in it.

    Mine's a 99 Toyota Chaser

2.5L straight 6 turbo with VVTi.

    206kW (280hp) @ 6200rpm and 378Nm (280ft-lbs) @ 2400rpm.

I'm not sure about the ft-lb conversion as we don't use them here (and horsepower is a bit of an old person's unit too).

Wow, that's the most precise copycat of a BMW I have seen lately.

I have no doubt it's more reliable, though

Yeah it's a pretty blatant BMW copy

The specs I posted are for a totally stock car. It's pretty much a smaller Supra engine.

It looks pretty much like a Galant as well. But I believe the Chaser was designed like that before the current(or last, depending on how fast cars import) 3-series style?

Yeah it came out in 96, so it was made during the E36 3 series era.

EDIT: They updated it in 98 actually (mine's an updated model) which was when the E46 came out. One thing they changed was the dash lighting, which went from white to orange. I don't know what colour the E36 had, but I know the E46 had orange. So again, I think they were trying to copy it. Even so, it's still a damn good car.

I see, once you look at the Chaser presently, I don't find it resembling the E36 as much back in 98'(when I actually first saw it)

    Nice stock engine too.

EDIT: I just realized you just said that the Chaser was rev. back in 98', maybe that's why it looked less like the E36

Well... currently i'm car-less. In the process of dealing with pain in the ass insurance companies, lawyers, and police to get back on the road and walking properly again.

Up until January 3rd, i was the proud owner of a 2001.5 Audi A4 with a lot of modifications including a Reiger RS4 body kit, VIS Carbon Fiber hood, big turbo, and a lot of other work making it my cherished car.

Here is a photo of it before i put on the RS4 side skirts, e-code head lights, and big turbo kit.

Unfortunately on January 3rd, just after 9pm.... i was hit head on by a drunk driver who then fled ths scene but was arrested not far from the accident due to his Jetta being completely annihilated, far worse than my car. I was knocked out by the airbag, sustained a concussion, torn muscles and MCL in my right knee from hitting the dashboard, and some memory loss. Its been over a month now and i'm starting to walk a lot better but my knee is going to need surgery. Medical bills are topping $15-20k so far and i'm pretty much stuck at home because I have no car. I have my own business as a systems consultant and that is down the drain now also since i'm injured and cannot work.

Here is what was left of my car at the scene of the accident before i went to the hospital...

Once all the legal crap is said and done, i'm planning on buying another Audi. It was a great car and definitely a safe car considering how bad the impact was. I'm looking into the 2006 Audi S4 which has a 340hp 4.2l V-8 and much more.

"If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government"
