Just picked this up. I have some finish work to do to it but it should be a fun weekend cruiser. Has a fresh 400 small block and TH400 trans and it is light as a feather.

I never even noticed this thread until it came up as new...

Anyway, here's some pics of my baby, 2000 Bonneville SSEi (just under 81k original miles).
I've owned quite a few nice cars in my lifetime and I have to say this is my favorite even though she is getting a little old...

I was going to clean it up a little more before the pics.
Got the outside washed and tire shine on but it was just too darn hot outside (102f / 83% humidity )
So thats as clean as she gets for now, didn't even get to the interior or engine compartment...

I'm driving my dream car, I think. When I get older, I'm going to get another M5 with lower mileage. I'm convinced that BMW made their best cars during the E36, E46, E39, E38, E53 years. I will give a nod to all the older models too, but I'm too young to fully appreciate them; the newer models are bleck!

    Dave,
Love the ride. I swapped that same engine in my Cavalier Z24, Just finishing a 5spd swap. I have a few mods and a Completely programable Computer for it.
Here is my website, haven't updated it in a long time. I threw some pics on there a while back after I lost the old site that tracked my entire build. I do have a short vid of the car's first start and idle on the new MSIII computer with my wife's netbook hooked up.

    Nice Charged!

Looks like some serious mods to fit that engine into the Z24...
    You've got skills Man!

Just out of curiosity, do you have a link for that programmable PCM?
Not sure I'd be able to make use of it, but if the learning curve isn't too harsh I may be able to figure it out.

I bought one of those $60 IAT sensor chips (while buzzed ), It's pretty useless...
Funny how a few beers will make you believe BS Hype. 75Hp and 5mpg my a**.

The 3800 SC is a strong engine, Bet it screams in the Z24.
Nice how you went with true dual exhaust too. Mine (stock other than the Cat) goes back single, then splits around the rear wheels.

    Dave,

Below is the forum link and where I bought mine. Of course I save a little money and built mine my self. But you can buy premade kits. I have the MSIII and Have a config that can get you started. I have a Modular Pulley setup and have tunes for each pulley I use, currently have the 3in on there but I haven't been driving it this summer. Still doing Tranny swap and Body work next. If you get an MS setup I can help you get it wired and running.

Here are both my cars, I have a Golf GT TDi PD150 (150bhp Diesel engine in a GTI shell) for everyday use, commuting etc and then my 450bhp (550 coming soon with a new turbo) stripped out, caged, forged engine track toy Evo, took it to the Nurburgring and Circuit De SPA Francorchamps this year on a road trip with the MLR (Mitsubishi Lancer Register) was an epic trip and I cant wait to go back

I've bought thissen hissen recently because EU forces us basically to buy tiny cars with tiny engines that "fart" soap bubbles. So this is my middle finger to them.

Nice Mercedes, I hope it looks just as good on the inside. What exactly do you mean by "the EU forces us to buy tiny cars"? I drive an SUV myself, not sure what you are trying to say.

    My new ride!

I owned an H2 for just under 10 years & it was giving me too many problems, so I had to get rid of it. I'll miss that SUV.

Only major mod is new shocks; Bilstein 5160 shocks:

There's other minor mods like EZ down tail gait, tail gait step, new tires (not really a mod, but the original ones SUCK), BAK Roll-X bed cover & some really heavy duty steps. I'll be doing some debadging work, along with a few other mods. I really need to lower the back 2" and change out the springs for something softer.
    You must [not] advance.
