How many of you are having problems with DFI?

    Hi everyone,

Now that some people have got their DFI nF4 mobos, I'd like to know how satisfied you are with them. I've been reading around and it seems that people are having problems, so please vote in my poll.

Also, please post your problems (and if possible write/link to a solution).

I had some problems with Ultra-D. Took me an hour to get it to post

Revision A02 with Bios dated 25/1/05. Eventually I managed to post with a single stick (OCZ PC3200 EL Plat 2) in 1 slot in particular (DDR1). Then flashed BIOS to the Beta 2.01 and all was well Now running 2 x 512 in slots 2 and 4.

Looks like the newest official BIOS doesn't like TCCD

Not tried any o/c yet, but I will

Chipset fan a bit loud at times for my taste. Since the rest of the rig is watercooled, guess I will go to the machine shop and mill a block for the NF4 chip. Not much room though

I have had everything setup for a couple of hours now and was playing css fine

Now when i play it, the screen violently shakes

EDIT: some good news.. it only happens with css.. so its definately a software issue

There's already a topic in this section (even stickied) regarding the problems and solutions with the DFI boards.
Don't understand why a new topic has to be created, where the same problems/solutions will be discussed.

Also, I think that starting a poll right now is to early (the idea is nice though).
First boards were released just recently.
Might be better to wait a couple of weeks, until more people have it, tried and tested it, and then report their findings.

Whoops, sorry! I forgot about that thread. Admins/mods are free to delete this thread then.
