    <moan> ORB </moan>

Anyone else getting sick and tired of browsing the ORB and finding numerous projects with NO system specs in what so-ever? (other than the info 01 picks up itself, which ISNT gfx clocks, and the issue with mis-reading AMD cpu's)

Makes working out where you need to improve to move up the rankings... Its ok at the top end, but for those of us beching in the middle its annoying....
You've gotta guess system specs, cooling, volts, timings, gfx clocks etc by comparing to known specs which is as accurate as a compass on the moon....

well for 2001 it almost always reports the cpu clocks correctly but I have no clue what type of cpu, however judging by the score, I can generally tell if its a64 or athlon xp. Sometimes you can tell by what mobo they are using too. Gpu clocks are easy to estimate based on nature, if someone has around 130 nature with a 9800pro, id assume it to be stock. If the nature is 150, its past 9800xt clocks for sure or in the rare case, a bugged nature. I have a 21.7k score with my winny at 2GHz and I am beating everyone in car high and both lobbies with their 2GHz cpu clocks, even if their gpu is faster, this is another way to see if your getting the most of your cpu, ram and tweaks

I find it disturbing when they're not saying what cooling they use. I mean, I do only air cooled runs so it would nice to know what I'm competing with. Could be a phase changer or just someone with stock cooling. Big difference imo.

    Thats very true as well
Ti4200, you can guess stuff like that, and as you say there are some hints, but its a load easier if people spend 20 secs filling in, even basic specs will do... cpu/clocks/mem etc...
