Looking at the setup of the Gainward....will it fit on SLI boards other than the Asus? Seems Asus is the only manufacturer to put 2x1 PCI-E slots between the 2 x16 slots...so the spacing is much tighter on other boards. And as far as I can see there is no adjustability.

Yeah, the spacing on each board is different, so how can this work with all boards? I personally think it's kind of a dumb idea. They could just make normal blocks and it would work fine as long as the inlet and outlets are both on the side, no reason to make them connected, if anything seems like it would have a negative effect.
