That sounds more like a RAM limitation. Try to up your RAM volts to 2.8v, if that doesn't help than start loosen your RAM timings to something like:
say stock is 2-3-2, try 2-3-3

Your bios temps will normally be higher than asus probe because of the halt command once Windows gets loaded, nothing to worry about there. My idle temps are around 34-35 this time of the year with my 3500 Winnie and depending on the load, as high as 45.

With my Asus board I need 1.45v on the cpu to run at 2500, I see you dropped the multi to 10 and upped the HTT to 220 which really isn't an overclock, it's still 2.2 gig.

i know i need it to be 240 or 230 to make it an overclock, it just that im a bit iffy with the voltages, isnt there like a chart on the forums that shows Oc/voltage/ and what not?

im going to try 230 or 225 with multi 10 and some voltage raiung, ill see how that goes.

btw, what the max voltage on a 3500 90nm week 37, and the v on corsair xms at 2-2-2-5?

1.6v shouldn't be bad for the Vcore, the RAM...I'm going to assume that its TCCD so 2.85v.

So yeah try out 225x10 with 1.45Vcore and 2.8v on the RAM with 2-3-2-x

What jjcom said should work just fine for a starting point, it's usually just a tedious process to find the right combo of settings for any particular board, cpu, and ram. There really isn't any "chart" per say for voltages, just too many varied parts for something like that, just good old fashioned patience and trial and error. Oh yeah, and a lot of reboots, hehe.

yeah, just a staring point after that you need to start pushing the FSB more. O'yeah you need to drop your HT multi down to something like 3x. Lots of reboots...and don't worry you'll find quirks...on my AN7 you can't save BIOS settings from the main BIOS screen...proubly some BIOS fix for it, but I'm too lazy currently to flash. Actually worried I'll cause a problem.

ok, i got to 230x10 with 1.425 and i did nothing to the ram. temps are the same, it barely goes up 3c after super pi, 1m. is that normal?

btw, my ram is the corsair xms, how much voltage can that take??

P95 heats up my CPU a lot more than Super Pi does.

    yeah, try out this:
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...227#post672227
That thing will cause a nice heat increase.

As for RAM, pretty much any RAM is warentied up to 2.8v as far as I know. So 2.8v is fine, some RAM might have a higher warenty such as OCZ VX but I don't know for sure about your RAM. After you increase volts beyond 2.8v you need to run a fan on your RAM so they stay cool.

Yes, that would be the next step, you can try 1.475 or just jump to 1.5 and take er up from there.

    Super Pi 32M (~30mins)
    Prime 95 >4hrs
    3DMark 0x Loops
    Then run your favorite app/game

If you pass them all you're stable!
