Craig, nope... A-series was pre B-series.
I don't belive they are BH-5 or CH-5 until i see some high 2-2-2 action.
The circles are from a moulding machine that is very common in taiwan. We know winbond has rings but they are not the only ones.

Try them if you can but don't get your hopes up.

    Hello:

they do not arrive at 2-2-2, they do 2-3-3 with 2.5v only but 3.3v they continue doing the same also I have a kingston hiperX that happens to them the same but 2-3-2...and also they have the circles
none of the two memories happens of 225Mhz...this clear that these Chips is not winbond, but that is? ( it is for not returning to buy them )

    Salu2.

I'm talking about kingstons rebadging system. They called the new line 5A or something once they ran out of BH5 chips. Then they were using CH5 chips.

It's most likely CH-X RAM. Perhaps CH-6 or even CH-7 (or 7.5, can't remember which one was listed on the Winbond Homepage).
But if you can get it cheap, give it a try. It's week 22 2004 RAM, so it'll never be either BH-x or the new Winbond UTT.

Ahhh, sorry craig. Misunderstood you there.
@ OPB, how can you be sure? I heard from one of the OCZ-ppl that the circles are not just winbond. I can be wrong though

They come from a ceramic machine that is apparantly very common in the memory market. I have quite a few chips with 2 dimples that are not winbond.

Well, don't believe everything the OCZ employees want to make you believe. It's partly right and partly wrong what they said.

It's correct that the dots are not only found on winbond labled chips, but, not all chips with another label, are really from another manufacturer. There are a lot of companies that buy chips from winbond and print their own label on it, to sell them as their own product, but it still is and will be winbond manufactured chips.

And NOW, finally believe us that this is no BH-5 or BH-6 RAM. That is impossible! We know what we are talking about and obviously you don't don't know as much as we do, thus the conclusion is: BELIEVE US THAT IT'S NO BH-5 RAM by 99.9999999999%.
But it sure is Winbond based! So as I already said, if you can get it cheap, give it a try.
