i845G B-step

Hi there, I've heard that i845G B-step are supported HT... currently Im using a BG7 from ABiT... according to Intel, it' support HT, which mean it's use i845G B-step... but to be sure, how I can find out that if my board have B-step on it?

Is there any mark on the NB?

Would that mobo of yours be the BG7E? or the BG7??? If it's the BG7E, then yes it does support HT. I don't think the BG7 does, but there might be a update for the chipset to enable it. you might find it here:
