    NF5 Powered Intel SLI?

    I found this ....where they claim EVGA are making Intel Socket T (LGA775) which support 16x!!! SLI, powered by nforce 5. i thought nForce was only for AMD

    Yeah NForce 5 is an intel chipset.

    cool. some light for intel 16x SLI should rape AMD's 8x NF4.

    How? Even 4x gives the card more than enough bandwidth.

    so according to you there is no difference between 4x and 8x? there are other advantages other than bandwidth

    I had a chance to check the board out, it wasnt hooked up and may have just been a mock up but it is coming.

    i remember having seen a comparison between 16x and 4x with a single pe somewhere. i think the difference was less than 1%

    right now video cards cannot use the entire bandwidth of the bus but later they will be able to saturate the entire bus of 4x and 8x. (hopefully this will happen very soon i doubt it though)
