    Asus A8N better vcore guide

    May be a lot knowing this but hope it can help others.

    Download ClockGen for NF4 and make a shortcut to the ClockGen.
    Make a .txt file with info like

    [CG-NVNF4]
    VID=1.550
    FID=13
    FSB=230
    PCI-E=100

    In the shortcut you add "-file=xxxxx.txt" (more detailes look at homepage for ClockGen)

    ClockGen is at default set at VID=1.475, so this gives some extra vcore for the Asus A8N - instead of around 1.584 you will get around 1.664 vcore.

    You can for instance put the shortcut in the "startup" or place it on the desktop.

    I'll be looking into the vcore mod, but have not figured it out yet, so hopes this can be a small start

    No afraid not! But this make me hope that there is no vcore ovp. Think this 0.1v is better than nothing hehe.

    I get 1.62 anyway from bios - with my winnie! If I set vcore to max - 1.6500 - I don't, I get 1.5. If I drop the vcore in bios to 1.6250 in bios I get 1.62! Mind you I doesn't do my OC any good . If I set vcore to 1.6375, I get 1.54. I don't really understand this!
