Also the 200mph wheelie he did was nowwhere near 200mph, more 100mph.
    Why would it be BS?
And why do you think it was nowhere near 200mph?
You did see him passing a bike that was doing 295km/h (183mph) while doing a wheelie?
And what if it turns out that Ghost rider is Patrik Fürstenhoff (WR holder fastest wheelie @ 201.3mph)?

It's a 1.3 liter engine (1298cc), and I'll prove you wrong that it can put out 499hp.

Better yet, I'll add another 200hp...YES that makes 700hp!!!

For now watch this busa passing a R1 doing 190mph.

well F1 racing cars do 900+ bhp on 3.0L engines with regular gas.

now imagine them running on some methyl-stuff and multiply the numbers by 0.43

ok guys, seriously, u need to lern sumthin about engines, a 150 hp engine aint gonna get to 500 for sure, and it's extremely hard to get it to 385 with just a turbo, the guy with 385hp, prolly ahs ALOT of engine work, like cams, head, throttlebody, pistons, injectors, etc.

I already answered why its BS, that other bike may be showing 183 on the speedo, but whats to say that is true.

If you have ever gone fast on a motorcycle you will know what it looks like doing over 150 on the speedo, also if you watch the mach 2 video by fast bikes you will see what it looks like on a busa doing 200mph ish, the ghostrider 200mph is BS. But at the end of the day believe what you want to believe.

he may be the world record holder but he didnt do it in the video I saw and not on the public roads. Also was this record guiness approved ? Linkage ?

umm yea it can, horsepower is a product of torque*revs/5252

if 1.8L honda motors can be boosted to +600hp at the wheels at less than 9k rpm, then it is definatley possible for a 1.2L at 15k rpm to do 550bhp, thats less than 200ft/lbs which a motorcyle tranny could also definately handle with a proper clutch.
and no way is a motorcycle drivetrain 15% loss, 15% is for a car which has a much bigger tranny with much more fluid, a much heavier clutch/flywheel, 2 axels, 2 wheel bearings, and 2 wheels/tires. motorcycle drivetrain is much smaller with a chain and a sprocket attached to one lighweight wheel.

plus, to handle the needed psi that hyabusa motor is defenately sleeved which means with 99% certainty that is is also over the stock 1.2L displacement, run 15 psi through with no detonation and you would be looking at 200ft/lbs easy. at 10psi a STOCK 1.6L honda motor is over 200ft/lbs.

From what I remember motorcycle horsepower loss thru transmission is usually 10-12%

For example the first R1s claimed 150bhp at the crank but most when dynoed showed 130 to 133 on rear wheel with some exceptions having more.

I have a video of some guy doing 220+ mph on a modded hayabusa and a video of some guy going 185mph past a cop. He turns around to do it again but the cop had left.

That's a pretty cool video, but not to impressive for that kind of bike.

There's a guy at my local moroso that ride a street riden 7.9 second hayabusa. It's pumping 355whp @ 9 psi and it's just freaking sick. Also, there's quite a few misinformed people here. A hayabusa is 190bhp stock, not 175, and a 1.3liter motor is very capable of pushing 500whp or more.

It was already mentioned... Hondas B18C's, and B16A's can be modded to push 600whp+. I have a few friends with 400whp daily driven hondas that were originally 160bhp.

Bikes dont loose as much as a car through the drive train. I have a 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja, and it's rated at 125bhp. When I dynoed it stock, before installing my power commander it dynoed 114rwhp, which is only like a 9% loss from the motor to the rear wheel.

Its usually 10-15% power loss on bikes, but this is dependant on chain type and other things The busausually has 170ish rwhp and about 190 at the crank, same as zx12-r.

Your very lucky to have 114 at the rear on your zx6-r even the new 2005 model rated at 128bhp (134 with ram air) is only on average hitting 112 at rear wheel.

i think 600 at the wheels is alittle adventurous, the honda block just wouldnt take that sort of power, i mean yeah you could change it but then its not exactly a B16A is it?

sorry for the off topic here, but dont you think instead of making them use V8's next season they should just make them use regular gas, this would slow them down enough for the fia's liking, imo f1 hasnt been the same since they introduced this crap qualifying a few seasons ago, they should just go back to the everyone gets 12 laps and an hour, this used to produce some right exitement in the closing stages - as the old saying goes, if it aint broke dont fix it

Dyno of a 685 bhp modded (turbo) by MC-Xpress (2004) (they are now over the 700 boundry) which is the modder of Ghost Riders motorcykles. This would be more then 500 at the backwheel. Are you convinced thewildblue?

    Dyno -> http://mc-xpress.com/records/kristerjohansson/dyno.jpg

This dyno has also been recorded on film.

Convinced of what ? I never doubted the BHP of a tweaked Busa.
That bikes wasnt doing the speed on the video. Like I said watch the old fast bikes video(mach 2 for example and you will see what an indicated 200mph looks like) or at least ride a fast bike and you will see what its like.

The ghostrider I saw claiming a 200mph wheelie (on a public road) was just pathetic, more 130ish. Now he may have done some new films since then but I dont bother watching them since he blatantly faked the one I saw.

Did he claim a 200 mph run, when? I've seen and own all three movies and have never seen he claiming a 200 mph wheelie. The speedometer might show this but speedometers arnt 100%

Only one I know who has claimed a 200mph wheelie is the guinnes recordholder Patrik Fürstenhoff. Who will make a try at 300mph (although on two wheels) if he find the right tires last try ended in a crash at the unofficial 272.87 Mph (messured with laser on an closed runnway/public road) when the tires shattered, he will also make an attempt to do a 220 mph wheelie record, his back injury stopped him this sommer so maybe next, hes allready done an unofficial 218 mph wheelie.
