thats impressive, u ever see the vid of the fireblade? well actually called a blackblade.

they crammed a blackbird engine into a fireblade chassis, they then highly tuned it up, and made a vid doing 240mph down a UK motorway at night, was something to drool over.

better than the crazy hawiian doing wheelies at 300km/h? Or was that 300mph?

Forget the name of the bike, but it was fastest production road bike made before the manufacturers all limited themselves voluntarily..

    EDIT

    Hyubusa or something.

All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.

499hp on a hayabuse.. Major bs eh? That ghostrider need to adjust his numbers or show a dyno or similar..

Speed might be right but any motorcycle rider know his bike dont even have close to 499hp.

Ive said it before Ghostrider on the busa is bs. Most modern bikes get there speedo readings from the gearbox, so if you put a larger back sprocket on for example the speedo will over read because the engine is reving the same but the bike isnt doing the same speed. Also the 200mph wheelie he did was nowwhere near 200mph, more 100mph.

That video is quite impressive on those the italian roads, but those ZX10R are nice un easy to get up too silly speeds.

Those specs wont get him nowhere near 499hp.. It would probaly be the hardest tuned engine in the world and not a single dyno print. Impressive dont you think?

link wont work 4 me. too bad I love stuff like this. reminds me of the time I pushed my '95 modded M3 to redline in 5th gear (7000rpm) with an indicated 160mph on my way to a high school final in morning traffic...some jerkoff in a 850csi was like WTF when he couldnt keep up...little did he know I had 340+ horses and a screamin supercharger under the hood...
you guys should check out Rendezvous. It was made by a French guy who strapped a camera on his old Ferrari and tore through the streets of Paris at dawn. He probably only hit about 150mph, but still that red head engine just screams!

edit: got it working, that's pretty cool except he does 299 in 5th gear well into redline when he has another gear to work with?? The wheelie is pretty sick though.

bias is right...no way a 1.2 liter engine with a turbo is gonna crank out 499hp at the wheel. No way. Furthermore, there's no bike tranny that could handle that much torque...

heres a nice edit: a stock 'busa puts out only 175hp at the crankshaft. Take 15 percent off that for the real "at the wheel" figure.

had to get it..2 times but pretty bad quality, but what a ride. i was wondering what speed he really hit, because it doesn't look that fast, but he's been doing hi revs in 5th gear a couple of times, which should get him well past 250km/h (~155mph) but yeah.i just had to trace his route on a map...
and then remembering i've been to most places in paris and just think of how crowded these roads are nowadays at any give time..still..the sound...
