129 is pretty darn cheap for an athlon 64 mobo. ESPECIALLY an nforce4 one. I would buy now because that price is due to go up once newegg realizes they can charge 50$ more.

they have nf4 chaintech in stock!
Is it just me or are these boards a lot cheaper than the nforce 3's...

too bad they aren't SLI compatible... the PCI slot looks different from OnePageBook's MSI non SLI where you can still enable SLI.
I dunno how well I can trust chaintech, do you think it is good enough to compare with the MSI Neo4 nforce4 ultra?
DO these nforce4 still have the sound build in?

are all sli mobo's that expensive? 250+ thats crazy, but thats all I've seen. I read they'd be 200$ and 150$ for the nf4 ultra (non sli). 260$ is crazy, I'd never pay that for a mobo (but I'd never pay 400$ for a videocard a couple years ago )

yea, it's ridiculous, people are already dropping a ton of cash on the two cards if they plan on SLI'ing now, so ease up a bit on the mobos!
DFI's board is supposed to be out in retail mid-late january according to OPB. Can't wait for that, up to 2.0volts i hear on the vcore.
i can slack off now on my chiller project, since i only plan on using it for when i get nforce 4.

Yeah really, you already have to shell out 800$ or 1000$ for videocards (unless you get 6600gt's it's cheaper but still not worth it imo with the mobo costs). If I were to move to pci-e I would like to get a sli capable mobo, but if it means I have to pay an extra 100$ for it, screw that, it's not worth it, I'd rather just get the next higher level of my videocard. I don't see why it costs so much more anyways.

True, it would be a waste to upgrade to something, just for the video. With the price of two videocard and the mobo, I could make another rig.

IMO, wait the SLI-based price drops. Or afterall, if u buy one now (SLI mobo and one GF6800U), in later future (maybe 2 years ahead) u can still have a decent performance if u just add another 6800U. Its still can get cheaper like that, after all, u didn't have to buy an complete new system... orr a new vga (with non-SLI mobos).
I've been searching about the MSI K8N Neo4 nF4 Ultra that can be SLI-ed with no effort, where is it?
