i got the koolance exos-al. i love it.
i got the CPU-300-H06, but i was wondering if i got the CPU-300-V10 or even the CPU-300-V13 when its out, and use the Hose Adapter, 1/2-3/8"or Hose Adapter, 1/4-1/2" to the join the 6mm tubing to the 13mm(v13) if that would give me better cooling.

If i get the danger den tdk and use it with hose adpaters, would that be better.
basically i am looking for the best cpu cooler.

but in terms of watercooling, a DIY setup is usually a lot better than a kit. you can buy individual parts online or locally and make a simple setup that can beat that koolance easily. i wouldnt recommend using a dangerden block in an exos system, the pump might not be able to handle it properly.

After checking Koolance's site, they're all basically and internally the same block, just with different hose sizes that connect to them. So it wont make any differance I don't think.
With the TDX though. The Exos only does somthing like 16GPH. The 1/2" TDX would worsen that already low flowrate. So even if it's a better block (it is), it might not perform as well as the Koolance.

just changeing the block wont affect perforance much, maybe 1-2c. the koolance is run on VERY low GPH pumps, so changeing the lines to 1/2" and useing a different waterblock may actually affect perforance for the worse.
the block you have now is fine. it supports 200watts, and is gold plated.
i have a corsair hydrocool200 + that koolance block on a 2600+ amd moblie and it hold to about 10-15c above room temp at load.

the new koolance block supports 300watt, from the website.
as far as the different block. i was not changing the size at the tubing but, close to block. i will have the 6mm tubing go to the 13mm adapter then into the block, and viceversa coming out. so no real change in system pressure. i was wondering if a better block would help out. also i have modded my koolance. i have take then bottom off and added 2 120mm fans to the bottom. so there is a current of air running through the radiator, instead of the 3 top fans just sucking it threw. i have also changed the 3 top fans with 3 80mm tornados. my system is top notch even with low power pumps, i get a little cooler water to compensate for the low gph pumps. i might even buy new pumps. i just like the external feature. i can swap systems in a sec if need be.
there is no point in putting a tdx on there. it wll hurt ur performance as the tdx sucks at low flow. the tdx is one of the worst blocks at low flow but is one of the best blocks at high flow.. so unless you plan on ditching the coolance setup all together, stick with the origional setup. also 1/2inc tubing wont get u anyything on the coolance setup.
so whats a good low flow rate block.
mcw5002 or mcw6002 are good low flows.
6002... or for your setup the 6000. 6002 is 1/2inc and 6000 is 3/8..
I just asked Koolance about doing the same thing ( I live in the same town as their North American headquarters). Basically, it wont work for the reasona allready mentioned in this thread. The exos has small pumps, but two of them are run in series. That, in combination with 1/4" ID tubing gives it a high (relatively) pressure.........expanding into a 1/2" block will kill it. A 3/8" block might be too much as well.

cool, i think the modded exos will do just fine, just htough i could spruce it up abit. i am already getting 28c on idle and 32 38c on load no ocin yet.
