I bought a PNY 6800NU from a guy off OCForum, the person who sold it to me got it on the Black Friday sale at CompUSA and sold it at cost.
As you've probably read somewhere about how some of the PNY 6800NU at CompUSA have capacitor fallen off the card. Unfortunately, mine was one of those, I don't believe it was the seller's fault since when he shipped it, it was nicely packaged. Card was still in shrink wrap.
Instead of sending back to seller for him to RMA, I thought I would save all the trouble of shipping back and forth and just RMA this myself.
I requested an RMA from PNY yesterday, still haven't heard a SINGLE word from them, no e-mail, no calls, NOTHING. I'm not expecting much, but an auto-reply saying your RMA form has been received and under processing would be nice. Though I really hoped it was a FULLY auto process just like how you RMA a HD with maxtor or WD.
But anyway, here's some pics of the POS PNY.
