    Alright, how about blue anti-freeze?

Since clear anti-freeze doesn't exist, how about blue? I know of one brand so far.. Silkolene ProCCA, but nothing locally stocks it. I was hoping for something more widely available that I could pick up here in town.

I did get colored tubing (blue), but thought red liquid running through blue tubing would end up making the tubing purple, which wasn't what I wanted. I had hoped for clear liquid so the blue tubing would just be blue, but since none exist, blue liquid inside blue tubing is the next best idea. And I don't want hot pink tubes!

iused blue antifreeze about 1/2 year ago with didtilled water and after about two months the water became very moldy and nasty. that was when a friend suggested mouth wash and, after cleaning everything from the yucky water, i refilled it with distilledwater and blue mouthwash. and there haven't been any bacteria problems since

Hmm, there are two I believe. I will have to call them up. Just nothing with glycol, right?

Almost all anti freeze is glycol based. The main disadvantage is slightly higher temps because of the viscosity increase, is also toxic but dont think your going to drink your coolant no matter whats in it. All anti-freeze has a higher viscosity than something like the Zerex racing coolant. But wont be major and is up to you if you want color over performance. Many things in WCn are in the 1° range and as each one is minor if a person makes too many compromises those 1° or less compromises add up to 5~6 and are a decent sized impact.
