    TDX really the best?

Given the proposed setup in sig, I've been told TDX would be the best choice for my CPU, yet when I look at procooling.com reviews of waterblocks, it shows many others ahead in terms of performance on all GPH levels... so is this really the best WB for me?

    1) G5
    2) G4
    3) Cascade
    4) Swiftechs
    5) D-Tek WW
    6) TDX

Top 3 being unavailable really, what is it that I'm misinterpreting? Should I be getting a Swiftech instead?

I believe that the best available block would be the RBX with #5 next the WW and then the TDX w#5 and all three very close with your pump. The WW and RBX are both 3 brabed blocks and thought that was why you discounted them. also in that graph it show blocks at different flow rates vs temps not pressure vs temps which would allow more direct comparisons.
Read this article on the plates for the TDX and the curve changes. It will give better info on actual performance.

If you look back in that thread here I am sure that other than at the very begining (where I suggested the NexXxoS XP before I realized it wouldnt be available here) I always suggested the RBX with the Brass top and #5 plate.

I think I have some big questions regarding the MCW6000 and the TDX still. ProCooling shows the MCW6000 to be better in most cases, but with the odd variations between the 6000/6002 when it comes to performance and the different nozzles for the TDX, it seems to be slightly more confusing.

Ive been running the TDX and RBX for a while now, and Im seriously getting curious about the MCW6002.

Neither of them are the 'best' though. The Cascade is certainly better, and the G5/G4 should be as well. You just cant seem to get those other ones.

After our conversations in that other thread about these two blocks I doubt you want to hear what I have to say.

Well since the G5s arent scheduled to be made till next month that would be kind of tough. My guess would be that I should be gettin the G5 around the 1st or 2nd week of Feb. I only know of two G5s out of Cathars hands so far but they would be prototypes.

According to his site, the G4s might be available soon. And Cascade is out of production.

But you cant get any of them now. Not in terms of full retail production. Obviously, there are some G4s floating around there. But if you cant understand a simple concept such as 'limited production' then dont bother typing on those things called keys.

Yes nikhsub...you really are a whore.

I've never been so jealous of someones pc hardware since I was in Electronics Boutique when the GeForce 2 Ultra's had just came out and I saw some little grabbing a brand new Hercules 3D Prophet II Ultra. That bastard...

...however shortly after I got my Voodoo 5 5500...so there.
