alot of times the "auto" in your motherboard bios will get you close or at least started.
After that you have to just keep bringing them down. it's trial and error.
I would guess though 2.5-4-4-7 is a very "general" timings for PC4000 (250Mhz) unless your voltmodding some capable 3200 or soemthing along those links...
Good luck.
Also check the manufacter's specs,,,,they usually say what they can run at.
2.5-3-3-7. uve got TCCD chips look at some GSKILL threads or the OCZ 3200plat rev 2
gosh...
still wont run over 220Mhz!
but when i used BIOS from Merlin (nf7d_26).... runs @250Mhzx10
with timing 7-3-3-2.5
but when i flashed the BIOS back 2 the original.. only runs @210x11.. with some error message : disable the memory caching/shadowing.. turn of the ACPI by pressing F7.. ... ...
what's wrong???
disable the memory caching/shadowing.. turn of the ACPI by pressing F7.. ... ...
^^ do that, go in the bios.
i did the fashin back coz temperature not friendly!!!
btw.. does anyone tried BIOS from tictac for ABIT NF7-S rev 2? d10 or somethin?
last time the temperature reach bout 48, idle.
maybe i should buy watercooling? hehehehe
