Question Is 50-59c too high for 2600m...

    running @ 217X11.5= 2499Mhz @ 1.8V(Have stock cooler with 81cfm 92mm)

when running prime 95 after the first test is over(Crashes 4 secs into the second test) the temps are @ 59c..Is that too high...Should i drop the clock till i get better cooling or is it ok...?

Idle temps are cpu 49,case 31c...(motherboard moniotr 5 same as bios)
    Ambient 30c(measured with normal thermometre)

The question is would i damage the chip by running it 24/7 @ 50-59c range..?

    I'm getting a new 2600MIQYHA and Sp-97 soon....2-3 weeks... here's my cooling setup....[/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

    LOL

Yes the temps are certainly too high, lower the clocks and vcore, wait for the SP97 to arrive then try again...

my computer won't even work with temps above ~55 degrees. I found this out by turning down the fan...lol. Yeah once you get a new heatsink you'll be doing great.
