    Windows Steady State Question

Is there a way to run exe programs under the locked limited account as admin. I want to do this without right clicking and doing a run AS. Is there a way to have it automatically open as admin within the program and the user won't notice this?

I have some software that only works being run as admin. I need it to run as admin within the limited environment in steady state. It will a locked environment for students. Giving or having user's type in passwords in out of the question.

    Thanks

Sure you could use the "runas" command line interface. You would then place that command in a batch file do a shortcut to that batch file and give it the same icon as the program.

However if you have steady state then you could always just give them admin? then task schedule reboots at the end of the day?

They can also disable the steady state as admin and turn off restore. Not the best idea.

Right click the .exe and go into Properties, you can set Run As Administrator. Not sure if you can set it to automatically take care of the password though.
