I think it's real. I have had that same score with different 1st loop too.

Here it is from like last February -

Does seem weird these differences though. But don't call people out until you are sure.

Not at the claimed processor speed. I got it to start with a .172 at speeds between 4050mhz and 4275mhz playing with mem and mem timings and none of them ended up in the 9.xxx range!!! ever. Run it again posted along side a validated cpuz with your same claimed setup. Hit the mark and I will fall all over myself apologizing to you.
I know you can't. It would sure make it simple if you could!! So get out that great p5Q and get with it.

Gautum look a little closer set aside your feelings look not just at the initial value but also how the loops vary. This is not possible.

Again put a validated cpuz with the link pictured with your pi run. And then tell me who on the staff oover there edited my post. #121 in the P5Q thread and put a different link to a amd setup when most everyone one knows I have never owned one. So who has the ability to go in and change posts and hide their lies?

    PUT UP THE PROOF

Better yet just come clean say you are sorry and don't do it again. The world will keep spinning.

    WZ
Kind of hard to do when I don't even have that board anymore. Why do I need to get this score again when you don't even have proof that I could even steal it? Explain to me how I would "copy" it when my image is absolutely perfect while yours is degraded. I absolutely REFUSE to say I'm sorry because I am not at fault here, you seem to have something against me, and it is getting old. I do not appreciate being called a liar behind my back or even to my face.

Also, I checked post 121, FOUND HERE and it was edited by YOU on 7/20 at 10:23am. Who has the ability to edit your post, YOU DO. If a mod would have, it would have their name on it. Looking at the pic, it says e8400 in the CPUz screenshot, so I have no idea where you are getting this AMD from. When you say "to hide their lies", what are you referring to? Are you now saying that the admins/moderators on OCF are in on this conspiracy? If so, you are out of your damn mind.

Whatever you have against me, drop it. It will not be worth your time arguing. I will never apologize when I am not at fault and being accused of lying.

Everyone else that has posted proof that you can get times like that: Thank you, it is greatly appreciated.

It is totally possible. With all due respect, I think I know quite a bit about SuperPi cheating, just ask the people I've helped in busting.

There is nothing strange about the time, it is fine for the given CPU speed. And why would anyone want to cheat a 4.66GHz time?? We have people running at close to 6 GHz here daily, there's no point in cheating an air speed.

You got a response from me, you got one from Kunaak. Anyone else? I'm sure I could get the staff of both XS and OCF to back me if you really need it...

I don't want to discourage anyone from trying to catch cheaters, far from it, but nothing here is amiss, it seems like you're just pressing the issue for your own satisfaction.

I have never cheated a bench in my life, but I say if anybody is caught they should be banned forever from this site, and other websites should be warned, and given their info. They should also be blacklisted so that they can never do it again.

It would be a disgrace if somebody like that were to post a cheated bench and then receive goods or services from any of the companies based on that.

I would hope that the Admins here would come down HARD on somebody caught doing that. They could then be posted in the Hall of Shame for all to see, and be immortilized there forever.

Personally I would be ruthless if I ever caught somebody doing that.

Agree... there no need to fake benchmarks if your not capable stay out the fire.. there's many other guys on here actually trying to break records.

    Here's a new multi-threaded Pi-program that I wrote.

    Main Thread:
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=221773

It's faster than SuperPi and PiFast. But I'm a little shaky on how to implement anti-cheat protection.

It already has some anti-cheat protection, but I'm no expert in cheating benchmarks so I have no idea how easy it can be cheated. So far, I haven't been able it cheat it myself using all the tactics I know.

Can someone try to cheat this? I'm interested in making it more solid.

For now, I know that the CPU frequency that it reports isn't always accurate and can probably be manipulated. I'm interested to see if there are other (bigger) problems that make it easy to cheat.
The first efficient and scalable Multi-threaded Pi Benchmark: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=221773

    Main Machine:
    Intel Core i7 2600K @ 4.6 GHz (4.7 GHz prime/LinX stable) --- 16 GB DDR3 @ 1333 MHz
    Asus P8P67 Pro --- 1.5 TB Seagate (boot + data) --- 4 x 1 TB Seagate --- 4 x 2 TB Hitachi

    Miscellaneous Workstations for Code-Testing:
    4 x AMD Opteron 8356 Barcelona @ 2.31 GHz (not OC'able) --- 8 GB DDR2 ECC Registered @ 533 MHz --- Tyan Thunder S4985 --- 80 GB Seagate --- Donated by skycrane
    2 x Intel Xeon X5482 Harpertown @ 3.2 GHz (not OC'able) --- 64 GB DDR2 FB-DIMM @ 800 MHz --- SuperMicro MBD-X7DWN+O --- Zotac GT218-ION --- 64 GB SSD --- 2 TB Seagate LP --- 8 x 2 TB Hitachi

Hmm, the HT link speed seems suspicious. 3123MHz is going to a bit unstable. I doubt it's Prime stable.

Sometimes the reported HTT goes insane for a split second (this happens very rarely), pulling the HT link speed and CPU frequency up

same thing with i7 when it is at the edge of stability hence we saw a 8g+ i7 valid from japan

some benchmarks like 3DMark should gather programs running in the background before start then after it is complete it should verify again.

Once you post your record online in the details it should show of all open programs in the back-ground and closed programs if any where running during bench.

Then they could go on further and if any cheat programs are detected they can disallow to post the result and a send an immediate letter for investigation (to their staff) to see if the record was really cheated

I know this is an old thread but I just noticed it today and your post.
    Please don't!!!!

I cannot run 32m superpi mod vers (any mod ver including the xs) because of the anti cheat.
It thinks that most of my systems are cheating when I'm only trying to make a run at 32m for stability testing.
I have to run the original superpi.

It might be the diff's between my irq timing and my cpu timing, I don't know, I haven't tried it on an unmodded bios (pic timing mod).
But I really don't care about bench's lol, I just need the stability tests to run .

Anyways, leave the stability option alone in terms of cheat protection, add as much cheat protection as you want to the bench option.

    Edit:
However, I supposed could do some messing around with the pic's, pic0 1 and apic timings to see if I can cheat your program later on...
If you wanted me to, not sure if I can get access to the apic multiplier in win7 though, haven't tried yet.
I don't mod those for cheating, I mod them for latency and hd controller timings (via chipsets I can mod the timings directly, other chips I have no idea how to so I mod the master timing).
