Who said Rimm was dead?
Gr, SuSEQ
Dwelling in the past is dying in the present (Atrus) --- Arglis, Amilo and Naresh are all happy
Looks nice. How's the performance and stability of the board at that speed?
How high can you go at x4 with the RIMMS?
still testing today
so i will try to be as correct in anyway for al the setting

funny how epox says "Vdimm" in the BIOS for a RIMM board... lmao
RDRAM in 3x mode is a bit weak in performance imho
Does that say 81C Or is it a bug with the temp sensor?
Either way nice results
XP2400+
Abit NF7 2.0 Vmem and VDD modded
256MB Kingston HyperX PC3500
Sapphire 9500np (Vref, Vmem, Vddq, Vcore modded)
Fully Phase Change cooled
So again how stable is it?
Prime?
3dMark loops?
SuperPI?
Do you have ANY 4200 rdram you can try in it?
Can you run it at 4x at all?
stable at 168 max now
no i don't have any pc1066 yett but i can test my 3,06 on it this week i hope

Any updates??
Dont even ask where i've been!!!
Yeah Ted and I want some damn INFO on this board already!
No reviews yet not one. I'm kinda scared to buy the board now.
I've come to the conclusion no one can get it working right with 1066 [4200]and that's what this board was made for.
OK, I got one 4T4A+ today for a review.... have some BIG problem running 2x256MB PC4200 32bit Samsung and for now I'm only with 1x256MB...Originally posted by TechTones

Is it stable with 1 265mb stick of 4200? Are you having any problems running 4x at all at any fsb?
Would you say that the board works just fine with one stick of Samsung?
Well I need some more time in order to be sure what I'm talking about.... cos saying "I'm sure it's stable" after 3 hours of playing doesn't sound serious....Originally posted by TechTones

Right now I'm running 163FSB/652MHz RDRAM 4x.... so far so good..... but 167MHz FSB is a "NO GO".... it's not the memory, it's not the CPU....

Why has that rdram done better then 167/4x?Originally posted by TodB

You said the board wouldn't do over a 167 fsb and said it's not the ram or the cpu. How do you know that unless you've run that ram before past 167/4x
Well it won't run even If I set the RDRAM to 3x and give the CPU more voltage......Originally posted by TechTones

It donesn't make any difference........ this CPU is capable of doing 3.1G, and the memory...... well it would handle 167x3, I'm 100% sure about that....
For now 163FSB/ RDRAMx4 seems to be stable....... we'll see how stable....

Tod, there is aknoen prb with the 4T4A&Samsung pc1066 rimms, many users posted that there was no stability at all\they couldn't run it@X3\They couldn't run it@X4...try to test it with Kingston moduls.
1.6a@2.4, Abit IT7, 512mb Twinmos pc3200 (50D), FIC R9700, ANTEC TP430W, Cheiftec FT, MX500, INSPIRE 6100 6.1, Fortissimo III
Who sells those Kingston 32-bit modules anyway?
