Big improvement with ATI Silencer on 9800 over stock?

I was just curious as to how much of an improvement the ATI Silencer cooling system for the 9800 Pro would improve over the stock cooling. As many know, the stock cooling for the 9800 pro is real lousy, not even any heatsinks on the memory and a real mediocre heatsink/fan on the core. Would there be a noticeable overclocking improvement with the Silencer? Thoughts?

If it were me, I'd look for a good deal on an Alpha HS, or an all copper one, made for CPUs, and custom-fit it on. Then you put a nice high-cfm fan on it, and you'll be able to overclock much better. If you need PCI slots, just get a 1U or 2U copper cooler, low profile for servers.
