It's funny yet sad seeing how obsolete this thread is now.
Especially with Penryn and SSE4 round the corner those numbers are just going to drop even lower.
Is Pi 1M still even a good indicator of CPU performance or is it too quick now?
And one last thing, if I use a PCMCIA soundcard (Audigy 2 ZS Notebook) would it be affected by the increased AGP/PCI bus?

32M is a more appropriate indicator of system performance but I personally like 1024M with wPrime, gives a better indicator of complete performance vs single-threaded.
