gonna install it on all rigs. how's performance? faster than with the last few betas or do you still need to run the tweaks to make it speed up?

I just installed it, after using the latest available beta's for a while.
I personally find it loads pages pretty fast, maybe a tad faster than the latest beta. But it might be bit early to compare it against the beta versions.

yea i downloaded firefox 1.0 last night and i have ahd no problems with it. The changes from the last beta are very minor. Im having no problem with load times. (I think my 5mb connection helps that) I havent tweaked it at all yet, i dont think i ever will either. Right now its fast enough for me.

    Nice job Mozarella!

It's only been installed for five mins. and I really like it. There are definatly some differences.

Is there anything I'm not going to like? I did read something about Active X.

You shouldn't face any problems, the browser has a load of options, extensions you can play with...link

There are a few sites incompatible with firefox, no big deal.

Type about:config in the url bar and have a look at the options

I don't know if you guys ever heard of Moox's optimization builds (I never had), but he released 3 different versions of the latest Firefox 1.0, optimized for several cpu's (A64, P4, XP.......)
    Check it out here :

I just installed Firefox 1 on all my systems. Slightly faster than 0.9.3. But not much else.
