    30K not possible with Northwood ?

    scored 28300 or so with 4400mhz, ramspeed (mixed BH5-6) 240 @ 2-2-2-5.
    GPU (XT-PE)was only at 550/600 (no time to mod yet).

    I find that low, if you see the specs.
    what is wrong here ?

    We all know that a p4 isn't the 'king' of 2k1. I think it's a normal score 4 your specs.
    But if jah wanna get 30k ,just bench with windows 2k /2k3 that will give an extra 300-500 points, also try windows tweaks / edit your gva-card bios... and use a v-mod... don't worry you'll get you 30k

    ehm, W2K for Intel ?
    it's a known fact that XP is the OS for Intel, W2K/3 for AMD.
    I'll do a downgrade

    2K: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7948574
    XP: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7934871

    Everything was fully tweaked. The CPU was acctually clocked lower in the 2K test. XP is not good for anything.

    Take a look at this -> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8129818
    This guy has 30k with his p4, but thats with 675/641 and 4.6ghz. I think you just need some higher clocks.Try to edit your bios and give some more volts, a v-mod will also help a lot (ask colin if he whants to drink a beer at your home :p ).Also try to get some more bandwith (maybe your tccd sticks will do better...).
