transam.. 1.45 volts and 2700 and i have to put 1.6v in this thing to get 2.5. how sad is that... and that other guy is running below spec voltage and is at 2.7ghz... this is pissing me off...

well have you been able to do 30s run? 300mhz at those timings in dual channel , I would expect ram bandwidth bench to be over 8k in sandra and 30s in superpi.

when you use the 8 multi what is the speed of your ram did you checked it i don`t think you can make 320mhz with your ramactually i read it...

300Mhz can't run 30s in superpi. at 306x8 2.5-3-3-5 1T 2.85v superpi 30s bandwidth 8067MB/S

i made 30sec in super pi wit 333ht and ram at 266 at cas2 2-2-2-5-7-16 and cpu speed at 2660 the bandwich eficency in sandra is 89% this is so {as i figgered out} because the ram is too fast for the prosesor at that speed to have bandwich at about 96% the cpu have to be at least 200mhz more i mean if i ran the ram at 266mhz the cpu should be about 2900-3000mhz for the bandwich to be 96%
that`s why if you can`t clock your processor more than 2700 you don`t need ram faster than 240-245 mhz cause the cpu doesnot take advantage of the faster ram you can check it with super pi or what ever you have.
that `s why i experienced the low bandwich at dual channel at high ram speeds and high bandwich at the same speed but in single channel
when i lowered the ram speed at the same cpu speed the bandwich eficency grew and reached it`s 97%
so guys you don`t need the ram to be that fast when you are in dual channel if you don`t have the processor for it
I don't have 2x256, but I think my 2x512 el4200 platinum can do that. I'll try tonight and see what I get.
I would say the real Vcore is about 1.49-1.50,CPU-z shows about .5V less than real

if this is your first night in xtremesystems,
you have to overclock.
Try setting the TRAS to 10. 5 is not good for AMD, It may cause errors and will give you less bandwidth.damn i cant get over 283 htt
Also try 3-3-3-10 and see how you do.
I just measured the vcore. It's about 5 1/4 inches.

klootzakje, could you please post a cpuz screen so we can have it verified? We are not saying you are cheating, it just looks very questionable.
yes please do, and I am on your side as I have same memory and CPU, so I hope those results are for real, although the ram at 313 does seem pretty questionable.
notice there is not one bench or memory screen to show the outrageous performance that overclock would yield. Most people would be so excited about an overclock like that, they would post as many benches as possible that will fit on the screen. I know I'm not alone on this one. it's also strange that this was his first post ever on xs. very interesting.
