I think you misunderstood, I could get up to 1.92v with bios 136 at just +15% setting. With bios 137, they took away the options for +13-15or18% vcore. Some guy modded 137 and put those options back and I am just saying that they now don't save. +10% is the highest that will actually save in the modded bios which gives me about 1.77vcore.

I am not sure if you have the 7030 or the 7025 but here is were I got the bios. The 1.36 did the same thing to me dropped the max vcore.

xgman is talking about the trats modded one that site.
They all come from me anyway. (I am svcheat .com and .co.uk)

I am not complaining, cos it's good to share bandwidth, but he seems to have renamed the zip file from W7025NMS_137mod.zip to 7025v137mod.zip.
Looks like both contain the W7025NMS_137mod.bin BIOS which in HEX and exactly the same.

Hi man, when u flashed it with WinFlash, did you checked to "update all" on the left taskbar?
Is this safe to update the bios on my NEO2 MSI mobo?

    Thanks,

Yes, WinFlash is safe to use on the MSI. As a matter of fact, I flash over and over again using WinFlash to test other BIOS files. Be sure to restore your BIOS settings to default or optimized before you flash, just to be on the safe side.

Do you tick the "update all" (which basically updates and the DMI block, apart from the Main and Boot ones) ???

Try this article, digitalfrost: PCStats: USB Memory Drive Projects

Memtest+ has an executable you can run from the flash.

those of you who flashed with DOS, were you able to do it off a RAM drive of just off floppy? i tried using my Win98 bootdisk and when they tried to create the RAM drive i got some A20 error.

There is some info here on how to do it with ramdrive.

http://www.infotechcommunity.com/bootdisks/bootme.exe (if link fails, get a Win98 or ME bootdisk here but make sure you get one WITH ramdrive.

    That makes the disc.

Choose "Start witout cdrom support" .

If you have only ntfs partitions like me the ramdrive will be named C:

Have the AWFL833D.EXE and the BIOS file on a separate floppy .

Change floppy disk to the one with the flash prog and bios file and copy
    them to the ramdrive .

    A:>copy awfl833d.exe C:

    A:>copy bios.file C:

    A:>C:

    C:>awfl833d.exe bios.file /py/sn/wb/cc/cd/cp/f/r

For Winflash 1.51 - can I just download Winflash 1.51 and go from there or do I have to use the one from MSI Live Update?

    Is 1.51 latest?

YES! i used to flash using floppy/CD but now only Winflash exists for me works perfect on all my systems NF2/NF3.... also, best part is that of course NF3 uses same BIOS chip so you can hotflash it with whatever NF2 board you have handy

unzip it to the same directory as where you put winflash, this may help. I haven't personaly used Winflash, I've just used the flashing program made by who ever I bought the board from.

You need to set it to all file types as the MSI bio's don't use .bin extension then locate it.

I tried to get the bios downloaded to the default File called RarSFXO, however I did not see that as an option.I'll try your method

    Thanks
