We went to the one in Orlando Florida. Amd did a much nicer job then last year, and my buddy brought home a 2100+ cpu.
We promptly unlocked it and ran it up in my machine with some pretty good results for a *free* cpu!

I checked the address and I have to go 2 WHOLE BLOCKS to get to the event.

Gonna head out soon, wearing my AMD XP shirt to increase my chances at winning the grand prize game. err. build off.

Answered questions for shirts and hats (I had a few correct answers), the first CPU when I walked in the door and the second when I left.

The laptop bag was part of the stuff from answering question in battles of the boxes.

Heh. Fuggar, ur not the only one to walk outta there w 2 cpus. Got one for getting called to the panel, and one as part of the consolation prize when they disqualified us. Along w $2400 less than what I should have gotten. My build smoked his.

Pretty pissed by the way it turned out. But hey, I walked out with 2 2400's and the promise of a $100 check. More than I walked in with.
