Pretty similar config to others. Looks like 90nm chips are really good overclockers.
MSI K8N Neo 2
A64 3200
2 x 256MB PDP 3200XL (Samsung TCCD).
No additional tweak done to memory. All are BIOS defaults.

looking good
what kinda cooling are you using?
and what is the stock voltage for 90nm A64's?
That would be 9 and it will become 2.7GHz. I am using a zalman 7000a-Cu thus didn't want to risk anything yet.Originally Posted by Drisler

Use 8, then.
CPU-Z doesn't work correctly with half-multi's. The A64 has no 1/2 ram dividers. Your ram is really running around 289MHz (??). It's not "1:1".
somebody correct me if i'm wrong.

that is acctually /9
2600/9= 288, which acctually still isn't bad
For those of you about to post:
Looking good
Nice clock already on air.
Yea but you could do 289x9 and your RAM would be still running at the same speedThat would be 9 and it will become 2.7GHz. I am using a zalman 7000a-Cu thus didn't want to risk anything yet.
[running with x.5 multiplier wont run the RAM in 1:1 mode, 306fsb 8.5 multi is 289ram (306x8.5/9)]
damn nice
32sekpi for 2600mhz ... go for more
3000+ Winchester
DFI SLI-D
2x512 OCZ EL Rev.2
OCZ 520Watt
2x6800GT Inno3D SLI
but will there be any difference when you switch from 8,5x to 9x multiplier?Originally Posted by macci
since the mem and cpu freq. remain the same...
8.5 x 306 = 2601
9 x 289 = 2601
nice overclock
your my idol
hey missme, how dd you actually decide between a Tt112, a Hyper 6, or the Tt Silenttower ???
