Some how I really don't think that this will happen. Notice how we aren't getting these boards until now. So far their only in notebooks. Anyone see what I'm thinking? Intel would know if they were sitting on a gold mine. And their sending these out in desktop form. I know they want the Prescott....but this would make so much more sense...something about this chip can't be all that great and they don't want everyone to see it.

EDIT: Or they don't make many.

I have a 1.5GHz Dothan in my laptop. Maybe I should try to get a compatible motherboard... just for giggles.

yeah go for it! If you do let us know about your luck. We need more P-m overclocking reviews! Then we could get a better idea about overclocking these things and if its worth it.

You going to try the 2.0GHz Dothan? I'm waiting for them to come down in price and then I'm going to upgrade my notebook. I'm really interested in what these will do in a desktop environment since my 1.5GHz notebook crunches like a 2.2GHz AMD A64.

OK, I've read so damned many reviews, I don't recall where I saw this, but isn't there something these Dothans do very poorly, like video encoding? Personally, I don't compute pi for a living.

Seems like this would be a great little combo for an office desktop (nice small profile), and when some smartass comes by your office and mocks it, "Oh, how cute," you ask him, "wanna run some benches?"

Oh, and I've already found my mini-itx case:

But where do you put the Vapo hole?

Too bad the Aopen won't fit in there.

There is a mini-ITX Pentium-M board out on the market, but it's a lot more expensive than the Aopen.

    I think so .
I saw the AOpen up fo 190fsb and thus the pci freq would be @ 62Mhz (pci @ 125Mhz) there has to be a fix.

you just have to look closer

here you go, I checked the numbers, they are right on, all checks out and passes the CPUZ check. atleast in this shot
I'd say these chips are the real deal.

now if only I could get my hands on one of these...
I'd have it under dry ice the day I got it.
