This is a beta version, no save points for the moment and doesnt work with Win9x/ME
The best parameter for the dram latency is 111 but u can test by yourself

pat on 865 for lga775 is possible?
Thanks for the link
Will try it and post some feedback.
What is "DRAM Latency Parameter"??

thats nice but need more settings
SP32M : 18:31m
SP8M : 3:59
SP1M : 21sec
Pifast 3.3 : 18,08
3Dmark01 : 33k
3Dmark03 : 14k
good to see an intel plattform tweaker like codereds amd plattform tweakers
thx man
Works just fine, but very few options
good stuff, can't wait to see what the future versions will bring!
Say to me what is necessary to put inOriginally Posted by Alexandrus

Here are a few ideas from the top of my head:
changing the RAM-Divider (1:1, 5:4, 3:2) on the fly
changing the NB-Strap Settings (533, 667, 800) on the fly
activating/deactivating PAT on the fly
that's about all I can think of. Does anyone know what the "Turbo" "Streetracer" and "F1" Settings in the Abit-BIOSes are doing? Guess they are tightening up some settings, I'm not sure which though.
Thanks a lot for this tool - I appreciate it.
It certainly does make the comparison between different timings a lot easier.
for the ram divider and Nb strap setting I dont know if it's possible without a reboot because with the AA8 he is necessary to rebootOriginally Posted by moep

Yet another Great tool by Franck
111 seems to kill the OC w/ my IC7-G and 2x512MB thou. With the other settings I got a 1fps boost for lobby hi thou
SR-e-5-e-e + 111 and other tweaks is damn fast for 200FSB thou - 155fps lobby hi w/ 3.4EE, 200FSB and stock X800XT PE (overall 27k)
111 is the most aggressive parametre (too)Originally Posted by macci
with my I865 at high fsb (300 and more) I bench with 101 'cause the NB doesnt like 110 or 111, same thing at 240 and more
with my I875 I bench with 110 and 111 at 260 1:1 and 101 or 110 at 290 and more
offset 69 = 43 = 100 (default parameter Asus I865)
offset 69 = 53 = 101 (the best for me to bench)
offset 69 = 63 = 110 (default parameter Asus I875)
offset 69 = 73 = 111
offset 63 = 2F with Pat enabled (asus I875)
offset 63 = 56 with pat disabled (asus I865)
put 2E is very good in asynch mode with the I875 and I865

Well, Intel CPC, Fast CS, generally PAT options.Originally Posted by cpulloverclock
Also, RAM divider would be great if it's possible.
Great tool, it just needs some implementation. I would definitely like an option to turn PAT ON/OFF.

Thanks for the link and the app. Options for enabling/disabling PAT and dividers will be really nice.
try to get access to all the ram timings you can
Great tool man , thank you a lot .
More controls would be divine
Excellent tool, it has made quite a few people happy Thank you
ctiaw seems to capture the new settings applied by the Tweaker
FYI : i875P Tweaker Findings
For my setup, Active to Precharge (tRAS) Max and Refresh Mode Select (RMS) values other
than the default seems to make system slower (that's just me).
You may want to determine the fastest settings (for these 2 parameters) at stock speed first.
The following pics are found from the i875P Datasheet that relates to the parameters in the Tweaker.
1. CL TIMINGS (11 = Reserved)
2. REFRESH MODE SELECT (RMS) (111 = Fast Refresh Mode)
3. DRAM LATENCY PARAMETER (** not sure about these, best match I found **)
111 = Normal Operation, although reported to be fastest previously
Also, 3DMark2001 seems to be able to measure performance changes in CL timings better as reported by Hipro5 here

@cpulloverclock
I notice this list is a bit long Please implement at your convenience, your efforts are much appreciated. Thank you.
1. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT BIT (PRB MSR_PLATFORM_BRV bits [18])
This feature allows P4 Prescott (LGA775 & Socket478) to step down multiplier to the lowest in its class (x14 for Prescott). Tom's Hardware article
I have found a document that indicates this feature (PRB) applies to Xeons as well.

2. CPU MULTIPLIER ADJUSTMENT FOR XEONS (IA-32_FLEX_BRVID_SEL MSR bits [15:8])
By default, highest operating multiplier is set and used for the CPU. It can be adjusted as described by the document below, but I am unable to find the address of the MSR, BIOS programmers will have this info. I believe the tweak can be applied to both Nocona (FSB 800MHz) & Prestonia (FSB 533MHz) Xeons.

New version here : http://www.cpuid.org/download/Tw865.zip
- some bugs corrected
- a performance mode parameter available
- U can save with the Tw865.exe -file=save.txt command

Great app there cpulloverclock/franck
I tested changing Abit's Game Accelerator settings on my IS7 to see if any of the settings in your app changed: -
'Game Accelerator' -> Changes 'Performance Mode' (as expected) (Auto = Disabled, Turbo+SR+F1 = Enabled)
'Refresh Cycle Time' -> Changes Nothing
'Read Delay (tRD)' -> Changes Nothing
'Read Delay Adjust (tRDA)' -> Changes 'DRAM Latency Parameter' (Disabled = 00, Enabled = 10)
'CPC' -> Changes Nothing
So, if tRD and CPC (and whatever 'Refresh Cycle Time' changes) options could be added in a future release that would be well appreciated.
can someone please explaine to me what this programe does ?
