    Abit Kg7-raid

Does anyone know if they are going to update the KG7 BIOS to use the bigger XP chips?
I may want to get a 2400+ but if ABIT isn't gonna update the bios I'm not gonna risk the money on a new chip.
I'll wait and get a new board and chip when Hammer series comes out.

I can't be certain, but I'd highly doubt they would. Even the KX7-333 doesn't _really_ support the newer chips.

Nah... they won't be doin that... all you'll be able to do is unlock the chip and run it on the lower multilpiers with a higher FSB.

But even then you're not gettin the potential outta the chip....
If you're gonna get one, do it right... the KG7 is a decrepid old board now anyways...

Well I have a KG7 now and I guess I'm gonna jump up to a KD7 Raid with the KT400 chip set and a 2400+ , My brother wants my KG7 Raid and 1800+ chip.
