Thanks, Jeff!
I appreciate what you did. Looks like a killer board, but we have to find out how it works with Radeon somehow.
Thanks again, Jeff

Man I'm sitting in a hotel room on dial-up and my new 8K9A2+ is waiting to be mated with my 2400+ at home! Its killing me!
I hope I can OC as well as you did, but I have to worry about all my cards running OK. I'll probably be satisfied with 200 x 11, if I can get there.
Good going man!

Very impressive Jeff. What kinda SETI times you getting with it? Did you bench it yet?

It did our teams reference work unit(.417 angle) in 2.222 while running at 233x10. I benched one a little bit quicker but I'm not going to turn in another result until I come in under 2.200.
I'm not really anti-Intel, but isn't it sad that my rig is 1.2GHz slower than our top guy(who's on Prometeia no less) and I'm only a few minutes behind?
Got to luv the underdog.
You have a link to the benchmark WU? I'm getting around 2.300 - 2.250 running 12x198 on a 0.417ar WU
Here's the main benchmark site:
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~mulda/phoenix/
And here's where you can get the work unit:

Look forward to seeing your results.
Not really stable, but kind of neat to see...
240MHz FSB
A 1/6th divider would be nice.
Your BIOS is going to be limiting you soon

Excellent achievement, Jeff, congratulation !
.....but you have some competition ......... from a 8K3A and A-DATA PC3200:

Well I should point, that Jeff haven't said anything about modding the board and the other guy states something like TurboPLL - JordanPLL...

I should point that the JordanPLL the other guy was using only helped him to get over the limitation of the BIOS.Originally posted by TodB

I'm sure about that, but either way that's some modding of the board.... and jeff hasn't even messed with the PLLOriginally posted by Niko

euhhh normally a Abit will get MUCH better memscores in sandra, especially with the same FSB and timings. But this board can run 235Mhz FSB agressive settings...I haven't seen that on a Abit board...Originally posted by JungleMan
Abits may be killer in 3DMark but there's nothing like an EPOX for Sandra benchies
Very nice score, VR-Zone got their 8K9A2+ up to 226Mhz FSB, but that was without as much tweaking/OC as you probably did, mind you
your 230-235 screenshots seem to have the little "tearing dots" artifacts, but your 240 screenshot didn't. ??

I compressed the .gif down so it wouldn't be a bandwidth hog. I did a better job with the 240 screenshot than the 235 one. There isn't any tearing or artifacts with this board and my graphics card.Originally posted by xgman

[edit]I just re-compressed them so they are cleaner.[/edit]

Has anyone found out if you could Vcore Mod this a board to get a little higher than 2.0...
I have one pre-ordered..

Jeff, can you please try and borrow a 9700 or a 4600 and see how high you can go with it? I would almost die for such information. Can you also try and find out the speed of the agp/pcu bus at 240 fsb? What is the rest of the system you have?
Cheers!
