What are the max VCores for the new BIOSes (1.41mod, 1.5x, 1.51)?!
    I am kinda "stuck" @ 1.55V +10% (1.700V) with my 1.41 Bios.

Actually, the back plate is "double sided sticky taped" on... so when you pull off the backplate, keep it in a safe place and put it back on there if you have to return/rma. shouldn't be an issue at all... the tape comes off with the back plate and is reusable...

I put mine in a small poly bag and let the bag stick to it, otherwise it'll get stuck to some paper or something

No, there isn't. I was being stupid in the middle of the night.

I think I was trying to say whether you've tried a VDD mod on it or not.

2 out of 3 boards of mine are FUBARed,

1st board had 2 smd resistors fall off from near the cpu.
That happened while changing CPU's. I did not put any pressure on those smd resistors. They were so badly soldered on that as soon as they were touched by accident, they fell off.

2nd board has 3 faulty dimm slots.
Using a 3200+ 0441, I tested using only 1 dimm & only slot 1 works. As soon as I place the same dimm in any of the other slots, my rig beeps its head off. .

    Funny thing is I had memtest running 20 hours+ @ 250MHz 1:1 (slots 1&2) & booster in slot4 & it ran fine. WTF??

Thinking it was a 90nm problem, I put in my 3500+ NewCastle & straight away got those damn beeps...

MSI have a good board if it's been through their Quality Testing Procedure . The only good board I have is the one I'm typing this on...

Still wondering why dual channel runs memtest fine but single channel beeps it's head off. Also, although dual channel ran fine, as soon as winxp loads up; it's only a matter of minutes before I get the infamous BSOD or my rig just freezes on me...

Oh well, looks like MSI are gonna be getting 2 of their "Platinum" Editions back .

    Minh
    Cheers,
    Minh

How can u tell if your motherboard is having a problem with the powersupply? the reason i say this is because i think mine does. It detects certain things on the motherboard everytime i reboot, and if i change around the power connectors to the hardware it will detect new items...

also has anyone had problems with this power supply?

X-Connect 500W and the neo i plan to get this if it is indeed my psu.
