My temps dropped about 3 degrees and allowed for me to go to 2.4ghz stable instead of just a screen shot.
3C? wow... thats a lot... weird... never heard of that before.
you mean before you could just take a screenshot at 2.4 and with prime it would crash inmediatly and after the arctic silver "settled" you could get it 100% stable for hours of prime?

yep. I saw a large temp drop and my computer ran stable. I would idle like at 44 degress and now I idle around 41. in. load went down from around 53 to 51.
AS3
PSU limit.
EDIT - referring to previous page.

yeah... im doubting a 300W would be reliable for any higher than 2.5ghz with all my stuff...
IE has finally stopped crashing (sort of) after Sandra's CPU burn in's all night... now IE only errors while sandra's running the CPU at 100%... and my doing regular stuff temp has dropped 3C normally it was 43c now it's at 40c... if i let it idle it'll probably go down a little more... who knows...
i have AS5 in there... and that stuff is known for dropping temps a few degrees when it settles in
but it looks like soon enough IE will be stable even at load... which would be nice...
and i definetly think it's my powerbox... but i might upgrade my cooling anyway
