Try this
Unplug the machine and reset the cmos jumper. If it comes back up hit delete to enter the bios, but tell it to exit without saving the changes andreboot. If it reboots fine go back in and immediately hit F10 to save changes and exit without actually changing anything and lemme know if it hangs then. It you CANNOT get it to boot at all after resetting it try unplugging the power cord long enough to let the light go off on the motherboard, plug it in and try again. If that doesn't work unplug the cord and the atx connector from the board for about five minutes and then try it again. If none of this works he MAY have damaged the core.

Sounds wierd?
I know this all sounds wierd, but everything i've said here has fixed the famous Abit warm boot issue for me and people I've suggested to at one time or another.

Lemme see it I have this
It does boot, but at 1500+ only? I don't think it's wrecked if it will boot at all, but someone else reading this may have a different experience. I've only seen them work or not. Meaning they'll run like they should or not at all. Try going in and manually setting it to 13x133. Also what kind of memory?

OK
Generic memory is generally a no no on Abit performance boards though some guys get lucky. You would really hope it'll run at defaults though. Manually set the fsb and mem timing to 133 and the multiplier to 13. iknow it's pc 2700, one step at a time. If it powers up, but nothing, but fans, shut it off and unplug the cord until the light goes off again. Post back if that works
