    aah your right...But what the hell. better to have too much than too little right?

    Got it somewhat stable.. But I don't think it'll be stable in 270 DC.. Never... but I'm sure as hell going to try!

    I can't get anywhere above FSB221 on my Rev. 2.0 mobo, stable that is, and it's not my Mushkin. I tried 2.5-3-3-6... didn't help. So now I see that I should disable APIC. Should I just reboot, disable APIC in BIOS, format my Windows partition, and then I should get more stable FSB?

    10.5x: 3411/3169
    10x: 3384/3146

    CPC On for
    1 x 128MB
    1 x 256MB
    2 x 256MB
    1 x 512MB

    CPC Off for
    2 x 512MB
    3 x 512MB
    2 x 512MB + 1 x 256MB
    3 x 256MB

    You need a CPC ON D10

    you need D26 Manta Rays XT CPC OFF bios

    Vdimm = 2.9V in bios
    Vdd = 1.7V in bios
    Vagp = 1.6V in bios

    PCI latency = 128clck
    Ext P2p discard time = 1ms

    that should do the job done....

    APIC disable it this way.... update processor driver in Device manager menu to Advanced ACPI driver
    reboot... go to bios menu ......then Disable the apic...

    This bios kicks ass. I have gone from 231 to 240 stable 2-2-2 timings with only 2.95 volts. Bravo!

    I did. I just wanted to share my experience so people had an idea of how muth band width it actually gained.

    PCI latency = 128clck
    Ext P2p discard time = 1ms

    Those two are BIOS settings, right? Never touched them before.

    I already use D26 Manta Rays XT CPC OFF, but I was actually recommended to try Merlins BIOS because of the low FSB. And what is it about the D10 BIOS? Why are you modding that one, when it's so old?

    I'm already at these:

    Vdimm = 2.9V in bios
    Vdd = 1.7V in bios
    Vagp = 1.6V in bios

    Just not the V-AGP. Isn't it at 1.55v standard?

    1 x 256MB
    2 x 256MB

    3 x 512MB
    2 x 512MB + 1 x 256MB
    3 x 256MB
    How about for 1 x 512MB + 1 x 256MB?

    [q]PCI latency = 128clck
    Ext P2p discard time = 1ms[/q]
    I'm also curious as to what these do.

    that will make your PCI device

    such as HDD,SoundStorm, ethernet,firewire

    run alot smoother at high fsb

    i'm using that setting

    233MHz stable.... Mtec50D chip

    But should we only use it, if we have problems with Soundstorm etc. when clocking, or should we change it anyway?

    If you have trouble with soundstorm and pci devices check the southbrige. Mostly it's a cooling problem.
