    Talking WHO would like a "starter" circuit for Prometeia Mach1???

    As we all know,Prometeia Mach1 is NOT capable of starting our computer properly.......As a matter of fact it doesn't even work.....ONLY a few mobos can suport that(ex. EPOX 4PCA3+)

    Now who wants a designed circuit giving it free for the public to solve this problem once and for all???...You will NOT have to put a second PSU(some of you have done) so as to feed the Prometeia first.......It is very simple and you can do it by your self (if you know some things about electronics and soldering things) OR you can give the circuit to a repairing TV technician of your neighbour so as to do it for you...

    It is working with ALL mobos out there......

    Let's see........

    i'm still waiting for the DDR maximizer,
    so i don't have get out of my chair and mod my mobo

    YES YES.. would be awesome! Could it be designed so it´ll startup with a variable delay that you could choose uself..

    OK.........10 votes is OK for me so far.............I design it in no time (bam-bam as we say here in Hellas).......

    Take it.......

    COMPONENTS :

    IC1 = LM555

    RESISTORS :

    R1 = 100 KOhms
    R2 = 25 turns trimmer of 1 MOhm
    R3 = 15 KOhms
    R4 = 2.7 KOhms
    R5 = 560 Ohms

    CAPACITORS :

    C1,4,5,6 = 100 nF/25Volts(or above)
    C7 = 2.2 uF/25Volts
    C2,8 = 100 uF/25Volts
    C3 = 1000 uF/25Volts

    D1,2,3 = 1N4002(1Amp diodes)

    RELE's = 12VDC(coil) - that can handle 1Amp(for "secure" rele's reasons)....

    T1 = BC546C (or equiv.)

    JP1,2,3 = Dual Pinheads male......

    Before we put it into out rig (computer) we check it if it works properly and for trimming reasons...

    Before we start we HAVE to "Short-circuit" the "JP3" so as the timmer (LM555 - IC1) start working - this is done by "closing" the T1 (BC546) transistor circuit to the rele "K2" and feeds the IC1 with voltage...

    The LM 555 works as a timer...We trim the R2 so as to get 1.5 sec time on RELE "K1"...We will hear a "tic - tic" low noise coming from that rele...REMEMBER that to start working the IC1, we HAVE to short circuit the JP3...

    Now imagine that we have it on our Prometeia Mach1...Prometeia's "reset" is already short circuited by default...When Prommy reaches the proper temperature (subzero), it "releases" it's reset pins' to an "open circuit"...When this happens, T1 will be "on" and CUT the IC1's Voltage so as NOT to "give" any other resets on the motherboard...You can now reset your mobo as usual....

    Feel free to ask anything ........

    P.S. Sorry about my English technical spelling.....

    mind producing these and sell em?

    edit: looks like the board inside the mach...how about modding the boards for a fee ?

    Very nice circuit work hipro.

    I like my women the way I like my processors...naked.
    I am not the HellFire that writes bios files. I work strictly on voltage modifications.

    can you design a circuit for us custom direct die guys thats like the prommys as i hate having to wait by my comp for it to cool then turn on. and it would be nice to have auto shutdown if temp goes to high.please hipro5 it would be much appericeated by me and many im sure.

    You could find a lot of those with double relays built in as was the Prommie Mach1..........

    Very cool hipro,

    Has anyone make this yet? Just wanted some results before I attempt one It is annoying to go thu all the steps now when powering up/down.
