Some info on 2200+ Tbred o/c

Allrighty.... I got one of these 0.13 puppies ( 0236 AIRGA ) and right now I'm running:

OK, it seems that I'm the only one, that would see this picture, cos it's linked to a Bulgarian site, that seems has no worldwide connection....

The pic is a shot of a SuperPI 1MB result in 55sec. on 2005MHz Tbred/1.775V

This with A7V8X and old Spire AL HS with copper base and 80mm NMB FAN....

Now I think this is kindda nice for a 2200+ Tbred but what do you think?

The first generation T-Bred's weren't the greatest overclockers, congrat's on gettign it to 2 GHz though!

Did you try 3DMark with that?

I know that, thas why I'm asking about - 2Gs don't sound much anymore, it's more like getting some info than showing off

I've tried it, it like 11 500 with non clocked, now tweaked MSI 4200....

2 GHz for an AMD chip is very good...

Honestly that score sounds a bit low, but then again I haven't played with AMD for a while so I'm probably wrong.

Well actually I think that this is pretty desent score, considering that it's default clocked GF4200 and I haven't tried any tweaks on the drivers too...

Now I'm in the www.comexgroup.com Team

About the DDR400 - we got some TwinMOS DDR400 Winbond BH-5 memory here, around 75$ for 256MB stick - this is some great memory I should say....

    TodB,

Yes, I didn't have great luck with my xp 2200 either...
This is the best I could do with a ThermalTake HS/F and Corsair C2, I'm looking to totally change rigs when some new hardware comes out.

    Well fireandsmoke,

I think that what you got is great, considering the fact that this is rev A Tbred.... I can only hope, that with better cooling and 1.85V I'll be able to match at least your score.... 2100MHz ain't that bad for AIR cooling and 1.85V....

I had one with that same stepping. I was running it stable at 2093 at 2.0Vcore. It was rock solid there. I was running 182 x 11.5.

I fried it by messing with my volt mod, completely my fault. Up till then it was a great chip.

A lot of people were complaining abou the temps, but with my SLK-800 and using the Halt tweak I was running at low 50's at full load, mid 30's idle.

Damn, that's some Vcore on that Tbred

I had mine @around 2040MHz/1.85V, but that's not for me - only like 80MHz and 0.2-0.3V more......It's not worth it....

Will try with better cooling - maybe 2GHz@default Vcore... maybe...
