but prime went for 13 min then stopped. Then a min later it restarted. Why would it prime for 13 min and not restart while its priming, but wait till after its done? Any suggestions?

hmmm ive heard of probs like that before, system is 100% stable under load but restarts or freezes when its idle...
i think it has to do with the psu or mainboard, voltages fluctuating too much in idle... not sure though
Is thermal throttling or something enabled? I had problems, Super PI comepleted, but once it was finished it freezed. It turned out to be thermal throttling (or that other similar option) that was turned on in the bios that caused it.
It could also have something to do with the STOPGRANT bits. The CPU disconnect function's not working right, and if the load is taken away, it should idle and disconnect from the bus, but that results in instability...
but is there a fix to that? letting a proggie run in background that consistently uses some cpu resources?
use sanda burn in and set it to 5% cpu stress, maybe that works for now.
maybe i could just run folding all the time, since that lets me use all 100% if i need it?

CPU disconnect, that's what I meant.Originally posted by SAE

well i still cant run it at 260. No matter if memtest gets no errors things still get corrupt

This happens on my A64 too. I let prime95 run for like 2 hours. I then decide to check my email. Once I open outlook the hard drive starts working...... blue screen computer restarts.
Using 8kda3j and clawhammer 3200+. I'm leaning towards a psu problem right now. But i'm using a Fortron 530w, which is what you are using also.
My vcore does flucate a lot, from 1.616 to 1.7v.
It goes to 1.7v on load and back down to 1.616 when idle.
If anyone has a solution let us know.
my 12 rail goes down to 11.80 underload, but back to normal at idle ;/
