    Albatron's GF6 6800GT - Should I go for it?

    Hello!

From what i'v seen this card has 2 molex connectors like the Ultra's, and the same PCB (expect heat sink). Dunno what about the capacitors and mem. Should I buy it? chances for getting U's speeds?

Also, I can the albatron, gainward, Leadtek cards.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Fugger,

Did you have Albatron's Ultra before?
If yes, from first look, how's the mem-chips and PCB look like? pretty same like the GT? and what about the molex connectors? 2 or 1?

Thanks, it's really important to me

I think the Ultras have a different PCB from GT and have 2 molex connectors. About the mem-chips i dont know anything =(

Yeah, but the albatrons are supposed to have the two connectors. I know all GT's are on the same long pcb. I'm willing to bet most GT's pcb are just a bit more barren where the extra connect would be, while the albatron will be much closer. Pretty sure only one maker (samsung?) is doing GDDR3 right now so you might be looking at the 2.0ns chips instead of 1.6ns?!?

If I wasn't trying to hold myself back, I'd probably get a GT and albatron would be first on my list followed by the BFG GT OC. Let us know where the cards at Mariachi? (Of course after you order yours of course )

Thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate that!

Well I tried to find BFG 6800GT in my country, but no results ,
So I went on the Albatron because of the 2 molex connectors and the same PCB like the ultra's have, I think I might get U's speeds with that card. I'll report!

And i'm buying it from local vendor, so I can't help you with online buying, but i'll try !

Leadtek/Albatron not up at newegg yet. Only the eVGA, XFX, and Chaintech show and none are in stock there, actually.

The only 6800 GT I found available over here was the one from AOpen and Point of View. Didn't buy one though.
