Intel hasn't lost money in decades and had US$6.5 Billion in net earnings in the last 12 months.

because its dominating the market and everybody buys celerons

and both cpus used single channel, they probably didnt have a second stick what a shame... a 90nm at hand but no two memory sticks

Yes, but this has more to do with the lack of public awareness among the computer buying masses. It has nothing to do with the quality of Intel's or AMD's product, and certainly nothing to do with this thread.

Please start an "Intel has lots of money so they are always right" thread if you like.

Yes, but I didn't start it. Saaya did with the suggestion that Intel is losing billions of dollars.

This has to do with Intel offering the products that people want for the price that they are willing to pay for it. It has nothing to do with ignorance by the "masses". If that topic had nothing to do with this thread, it would have made no sense to reply to it.

Hehehe so you could start another about AMD has lost lots of money so they must be always wrong", right?

The difference is, AMD is a parts supplier while Intel supplies Whole systems. CPU's are important to them but not everything to Intel, like it is for AMD. If it weren't for Flash Memory sales, AMD would have been in the red or barely broke even LOL!

Oh those poor ignorant fools. Don't all the computer users of the world realize they are missing out on %5 better gaming performance by using intels? What intel's doing is worse than worldcom, enron, and michaeal jackson combined. Poor poor foolish bastards

What do you mean? Intel doesn't sell computers, they sell CPUs and motherbaord chipsets. So does AMD.

Intel is a systems dealer, they sell 80% of the parts for a computer, AMD sells what, 10%?

Intel Spends more on R&D in one Quarter than AMD will spend in 5 years LOL! Waste? Tell that to the *large part of the market Intel pulls along with it? They'd be up a creek if they depended on AMD to do the same.

Only the Germans and the EU pulled AMD's butt out of the fire this time. Meanwhile Intel loans old enemy Micron $400 million, $200 million to Samsung and another to NEC/Hynix. If it came down to it, which company do you think these companies would vote for?

People aren't crazy for buying Intel products and many gave AMD a shot but though old problematic MVP, AMD 750, VIA KT's of all kinds and even nForce1 and early 2s stunk! It's not like the later, better stable nForce motherboards have been around for years LOL!
