If you mean stability ... when set VDDR over 2.9 have stability problems and seems strange to me....
Probably for the same reasson ABIT lowered VDDR from 3.2 down to 2.8 Volts.....

But the major problem off AGP/PCI gone for me......

Also BH-5 Chips is a big problem for this board......
    But who is perfect ????

I tried one a little over a week ago. It didnt like my BH5's. And it wasnt locked. Nice cheap board, but until they get their act together, or a new revision or naming on it i wouldnt order another.

Dont even ask where i've been!!!

Sold my Mushkin Level II. Doesn't want do boot @ 200 MHz @ stock VDimm. Now I'm on EB @ 260 MHz 3-2-2-5 @ 3,1V without a problem. Maybe i've to check 1.5.

I'm assuming you still don't have multi's though. That was to come in rev. 1.1. My Asus A8V has the ddr volatge problems also. Maybe it's a via issue, or maybe it's a 939 cpu issue?

Just got this board today, with my first OC'in experience with a A64 got my 3000+ Clawhammer to 2350mhz stable @ 1.5V. Wish it was a little higher but all I have on there is a stock heatsink changing vcore doesnt help it at all and neither just changing the HTT speeds or any of the other voltages. I'm stuck @ 2350 with all the voltages set to lowest. I wonder if the bottleneck is just the chip? I can get into windows @ 2450, havent tried any higher.

Okay 500W PSU blown, and got a nice little scortch mark underneath the chip I guess feeding it 1.85V with stock air wasnt smart. Now I gotta wait till Monday till AMD is open to get a new one...hehehe. Hopefully they will send me a NewCastle.

Hmm, reading on the Abit site they said BIOS 14 was the trick for rev. 1.0 and BIOS 15 was it for rev. 1.1 Using the wrong BIOS would lack locks...

Am I really hindering my overclocking potential that much by using a SATA HDD oppose to a IDE one. I thought these new boards were suppse to have a complete different controller for the SATA.

Fixed the bugs? You mean made them unavaileble

Its about time Abit scrap their vdimm/vtt circuts, and designed a new one. Like the one on AN50R. Its simple, and it works.

    Nice to see you here

But what about us poor guys on revision 1.0 boards, this doesn't work for us so we get no more bios updates to improve our boards, nice one.

pulsar, with a working PCI lock your OC shouldn't be limited at all by your SATA HDD.

With the beta 15 bios, my rev 1.0 board has multiplier adjustment.

The AN50R does not fry the A64 as long as you set vdimm to auto in bios.
