    KHX3000 which Mobo?

Could you say me a good mobo for the Kingston HyperX 3000? They have BH'5 Chips.

2x256MB and they are both half double sided...4Chips on each side!
Are the same as charlie has got.

    Any suggestions? Abit? DFI?
At the moment I've got a Shuttle AN35 and it clocks crappy with this Ram!

Abit and DFI work fine with it. My A7V880 however... hates it.

DFI, you'll need the 3.3v out of the box.

i heard of people which had problem with khx3000 and abit...

    these one i can get
    ABIT NF7(s) v.2.0
    epox 8rdar3+
DFI LANParty NFII Ultra B (very very expensive)
    Abit AN7

I think I'll have a try on the Abit with a tictac bios.

abit and dfi sounds good. with the right bios you can disable cpc and get some high clocks with them.

    go DFI or AN7

the NF7 wont giv you the voltage those sticks need, and some NF7s plain hate KHX3000.

both AN7 and the DFIs have "Tictac supported BIOSes" and will giv you a nice healthy VDimm supply.

dont disable CPC if what you want is performance

I run 1 GB (2 x512mb) of Kingston BH-5 on my NF7-S V2.0 without a hitch. 228 Mhz FSB in dual channel as of this morning.

It is true that I may need a volt mod to go higher, as I can't seem to stabilize the RAM at any higher. Maybe the AN7 would do it though.
    Gaming settings

    Abit NF7-S V2.0 @ 210 x12 (no mods), Air cooled, interface enabled 3:3 ratio, stock D27 BIOS
    CPU: XP-M 2400+ (IQYHA 0402)
    RAM: 2 x 512mb @ 2-2-2-11 dual channel
    Video FX5950 Ultra @ 500/995
    PSU: FSP-550

P95 stable (max) 221 x 11 same settings as above.

    firstly,
and some NF7s plain hate KHX3000

    second,
are you "windows stable" or 100% stable at that FSB with those timings? if you are it's a nice effort... what BIOS do you use?

With the 2x 512mb KHX sticks at 2-2-2-10, I'm 100 Percent stable for 26 Hours in Prime95, and looped UT2004 Botmatch with 20 bots for 12 hours (done separately).

I haven't Prime95 nor UT2004 tested the 220 Mhz FSB yet. I did game for about an hour and a half at the above listed 220 Mhz FSB though. That usually is a strong indicator of stability. Even if it fails, I still have more chipset voltage to play with, as I'm at default voltage, and there's always more core voltage if that's the issue. I don't have more RAM voltage to add (no VDimm mod), though I could drop the timings, and likely stabilize it if it came to that.

I really don't see much issue with the KHX300/512, or the KHX2700/512 with BH-5 chips. Even though they are double sided, and large modules, they go as high as any I've personally tested, and the fact that they can handle over 3.0 volts is a plus, if I ever volt mod. Not many other companies make PCB's at the quality level of Kingston, and that's why they have always been my top choice.

the hyperx ddr370 are Bh6 and they need raise the vdimm, so the DFI would be my choice.
