i was having a bit of fun with the card..no benching tbh but...gaming lol

430 and 1.14ghz ram was a no go it rebooted even though coolbits wouldnt go higher hehe...

time to start the benching i think...i aint no 3dmark experienced member though..so dont expect great scores ...

Try aquamark if you really want to be blown-away. It seems to love the 6800's.

Those GT's look nice and slim compared to the ultra's . Let her rip on 03 should post a nice score, you need to get 12.6k to get on the front page.

Front page of what? I count 13.9k to be on the front page.

Of course the GT won't beat an X800 Pro (on 2k1, though it should do well on 2k3). Look at the price difference?

I wish I could have kept my 6800 Ultra but that $1400.00 will come in handy!

Ok i need to hide...

first of all i just formatted my hard drive and i installed again the antivirus etc etc...so my hdd is clean but i still got some proggys running...thats no excuse though...prob is that my ram is not with me any more....the 3700Eb so i am using some twinmoss sticks borrowed from a friend...512mb...at slacket timings obviously....

here are the 3dmark 01 benches...The fsb is low...and the timings affect a lot my scores as well as the low mem speed due to 5/4 anyways heres some test results...for 013dmark

i did a quick run at ultra speeds in 03...i had to run all of the bench...anyways...got me arround 12K at 4.3ghz obviously...

I need to do more testing though...still if an XT comes by at the right price...i am getting one or an Ultra...

i cant bench with my mem that high tbh...hhe

There's nothing wrong with your scores. The GT is an extremely watered down version of the Ultra, which is a watered down version of the Ultra Extreme. Those are killer scores for a midrange card.

I don't think that's fair Kunaak. The GT is only the third to the fastest card nVidia offers. You are comparing it to ATI's first and second. Compare it to ATI's 3rd (9800 XT) and it would be more fair. It is at least equal to the 9800 XT in 2k1 and actually destroys the 9800 XT in 2k3. The GT even competes well with an X800 Pro (actually better than a Pro and not as good as an XT) in 2k3. These are $280.00 cards for god's sake, although you can't get them for that now, just as you can't get a $499.00 X800 XT yet. But prices over the next month should drop down to a more realistic level.

The GT is not the bencher's card, but it looks to be the hands down value leader for gamers.

I AM RUNNING ULTRA SPEEDS HERE...

the GT in latest reviews is close to the XT and Ultra...and is in front of the PRO

getting low 3dmark scores in 01 doesnt prove this card is cr*p...how can u justify my scores being low when the card in reviews only looses by a few fps than the faster ultra and XT?

Who said anything about it being crap? I said it is the best value by far for gamers. It is leaps and bounds behind the Ultra and Ultra Extreme because of the physical differences in the cards. They may bench close at stock speeds but the Ultra and Ultra Extreme are monsters. That extra connector is not just a decoration, and it's only one of the differences between the Ultras and the lower cards. Also, even the Ultra Extreme will not beat the X800 XT in 2k1. Ask Lardarse if you want confirmation of this.

I also said ALL the cards are way inflated right now as far as price is concerned.
