Either one.. ofcourse the BH-5 will give ya those lower timings most want. That new Epox NF250 board loves the BH-5.. And can fly high even with 2x512MB no prob.

It's the on die memcontroller that does or does not like your RAM, not the mobo.
The newer CG cores seem to have less trouble with RAM than it's early CO brother.

HyperX works excellent on my rig with a CO core, the OCZ EB seems to do very nice in A64 rigs.

If i had a choice, i'd go for the HyperX.

    Whatever ya wana think man.

Though, all i've heard since the release of the A64 is people crying about the fact that these A64 NF3 boards were picky with what will work with it.. Meaning with the same CPU on different boards, they could use other ram that the other didnt like to play with.

    Nice

Is 3.3V safe for the A64?

3.3v is quiet safe for the A64, offcourse if the 3.3 voltage is stable and not fluctuating.

    I ran over 3 month with 3.2-3.3v with HyperX PC3200 @270MHz 2-2-2-5

    No problems at all.
I had turned the Vddr pot three timines to much. This cause my systeem won't turn on for 5min ... but lucky as hell it still works.

    I think it is...
Only use 3.3V for benches, 3.2V for 24/7.

Are you considering to go A64?

Kakaroto, you sure got some sick sticks of HyperX, care to sell them?

Can you show a Sandra screeny with your RAM maxed out?

    Is 270 with just 3.07V?
Can't you go higher with some more volts?

well, my shuttle AN50R had a crappy chipset. It won't go higher then 280MHz HTT.

270HTT was max in the BIOS. even with 5:4.

Next week i will receive my new stuff : Athlon 64 3400+ 2.4GHz and Epox 8KHDAJ and Mach 1. Then i will test my mem to the max

    I hope for 300MHz.

Strange, that's the first AN50R i've heard of that's not capable of doing 300HTT, what LDT did you use?

Mine does 300HTT easily with LDT set to 2.

Did you try to set 201 in bios and just elevade your HTT with ClockGen?

    Works for me...

Nice RAM man, 300MHz would be awesome but it will take at least 3.7V i think, r u prepared to do that?

    Kinda risky.

Yes but only this board wont go higher.
A friend of mine also got this board and do 300+ with LDT2.5.

But I max out to 280MHz @3.4v. Could run it once, then never again..

Wow, that I call Fsb/ram clocking

    @Zeus

No, no single channel for me And dual is way too expensive atm So I'll keep pushing the AXP some more
