the larger fans can move air but the smaller fans will have more static pressure. I don't think its worth the change. Stick with the 230mm fans.

I do run pretty cool. This case is not as cool as my old case but it stays fairly constant regardless of load. When I compile something or do something else that makes the CPU run at full load, it only gets a few degrees warmer. Right now, my ambient temp is 80F and the CPU is at 82F but it is idle. I don' t remember it going above about 90F even at full load. So, I'm not complaining any.
My mobo controls the fan speeds. It does speed up the fans a bit when I get a load on it. I still can't hear it tho. This case is MUCH quieter than my old one.
Thanks much.
It's not extreme but it is pretty swift for me.

Loonym...You are missed.
The element of one
Breathe me in
Breathe me in
I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation
Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.
I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.
Heres my lovely well outdated rig also these are pretty old photos but the computer looks exactly the same.
I've never failed to love this case, had it since I first started my project nearly 4 years ago now
I've done a few mods.. dual 80mm's at the back, dual 120mm fans at the top which originally just consisted of one 80mm fan..
Cut a few pieces of alluminium here and there to improve air flow, cable management blow outs aswell.
I also removed the hard drive bay out of the bottom so the front fan has no restriction to blow cool air to the GPU and into the case.
If i could do anything else to the case id like to give it a fresh look inside and respray it all, but I am so lazy, i've only recently just got back into the whole computer scene again, as you can probably tell by my specs in my signature!!
anyway enough of the boring stuff heres some photos starting with the shell when i cut out the two fan holes.
Over the last week i've managed to scrap up the money to upgrade my computer slightly...
ive finally gone to Windows 7 from to many years on XP and went ahead to give the operating system a fresh foundation by also buying a Samsung F3 1TB drive.
Aswell as getting another matching 2gigs of ram, to equal 4, runs lovely.
Anyway enjoy, let me know what you think

@InCredible: sorry to hear about your gpu...but looking at that pic, it's really bent.
wow, never noticed that honestly...i think the 24pin was pushing it down since it comes right below it in the mobo and plugs in above it...need to look into a reroute if i even get one from rma(its diamond so i doubt expect it)
What cooler is that on your gpu?
Is the cooler not the reason for the bend?
I have seen more pics of people with heavy coolers and bending gpu's...

its a thermalright shaman isnt it?
yes its is the shaman, ive had it for probably 2-3 months...like said im not sure if it was the cooler or 24 pin connector which literally comes out right at the card and sits on top of the end of it...this could of been pushing it down or maybe the cooler..the reason im assuming the 24pin is because its the back of the card right where the 24 pin is at...idk though, either way i just hope Diamond gets me another one
