I don't use rivatuner, but the ATI probe with the newer drivers that read temps much higher, I get ~ -1C and 3-4C directly after benching. The evap however shows -96C. I would think it is wayyyy off.

I have a Vapo XE cooled FX5950u and in windows it locks the temp at zero.
Everytime I look it says "0"

The best way to check the temperature is thermal probe - it will really show what temps on your GPU, i don't believe temps, which bios tells me.

I HAD a Vapo XE on my 9800XT that SHOWED -29C on the display, but in actuality it was around -6C with my Fluke thermal probe.

Time to start building ANOTHER Phase Change Rig!

    Gimme, Gimme 2!

Mach1, with R134a and a Baker18 GPU turned upside down. Cap tube modded and super tweaked by Bowman and the Display was also calibrated. So .... -47c on the display under a load and - 20c off the back of the card, under the insulation.

Idle is: -48c on display and -31c off the backside of the Vcard.

i was asking cause i dont have a thermal probe and i have a stock prommy st on mah 9800xt, the rivatuner gives me idle temps of 6º and the ati probe never goes below 20º, 30º after benching...

at first i thought i had bad contact but redone it and temps only dropped 1 degree or 2

i think i need to regass it to r404 to be able to do 3dmark2003 at 600 on core
